DSD company uses the finest american black walnut to create luxurious, rich flooring. By using tradition machines and techniques our craftsmen have a unique control over the final product. Working with each board’s discrepancies adds a layer of character unobtainable with mass produced flooring. Combining this with walnut’s deep purple colour results in a floor perfect for an elegant study or meeting room.
At DSD we hand select walnut boards from suppliers based on heart wood, grain and colour. All of our walnut is kiln dried to reduce moisture.
The choice of a lighter sap is available within American black walnut. This adds character and variation to our walnut floor. Alternatively darker grain can be selected for an even coloured finish.
