18th Century reclaimed flooring

We pride ourselves on having a range of hardwood flooring which is all prepared to our clients specifications using old hand heavy duty machinery. Although time consuming, the inaccuracy of such machines produces a floor with natural and acceptable flaws.

These two popular products below are two marks on the sliding scale of palace to rustic.

18th century oak gets its beauty from its rich dark brown colour. Over hundreds of years it slowly darkens from the exterior inwards, this results in a beautifully uneven brown. Due to the woods innate colour no staining is required, this natural colour when waxed outlines the authenticity that only natural ageing can achieve.

19th Century oak

19th century oak has started the process of changing colour as it ages, however what defines it is the ageing process that starts around the cracks and splits in the board. Beautiful dark cracks run length ways highlighted by the spreading darker colour.
